Muse have teased fans by uploading a video suggesting they will feature on the soundtrack for Brad Pitt’s new blockbuster World War Z.

The Supremacy rockers have posted a 7-second clip on their official YouTube channel where the S in their name changes to the same red Z used in the movie’s promo posters.

Apocalyptic horror World War Z stars Brad Pitt as a United Nations worker who searches the globe trying to stop a zombie outbreak that is bringing down the world.

It adds fuel to the rumours that the band will play a one-off show in London on the night of the world premiere in the capital on the 2nd June.

Just when you think you know it all, a new TV spot for World War Z shows up to remind us that anarchy and chaos are always waiting right around the corner. Zombies being involved is just a bonus!

In the film Brad Pitt plays a U.N. employee racing against time and fate as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly zombie pandemic, and his Plan B shingle is producing. Mireille Enos ("Big Love", "The Killing") plays his wife, a mother of two girls. Their co-stars include Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, and James Badge Dale.

Matt Damon on Angelina Jolie's Brave Decision
Extra’s” AJ Calloway caught up with Matt Damon at the Cannes Film Festival, where he's promoting the HBO biopic “Behind the Candelabra,” and he shared his thoughts on the health of good friend Angelina Jolie.


Damon said he has not recently spoken to friends Angelina or Brad Pitt, but he commends Jolie’s decision to have a preventative double mastectomy.

“She’s awesome,” Damon said. “There are a lot of women who are struggling with medical decisions, and when they hear that the undeniably most sexy woman on planet Earth, as far as we know, is willing to take control of her health and be public about it, I think it gives other people courage to do that, too.”

Jeremy Kleiner Named Co-President of Brad Pitt's Plan B ...
Brad Pitt and Plan B Entertainment President Dede Gardner announced today that Jeremy Kleiner has been promoted to Co-President of the production company. “Jeremy Kleiner has played an immeasurable role in the success of this company. This promotion is long overdue. We are happy to make it official,” said Pitt in a statement today. Along with Pitt and Gardner, Kleiner produced Plan B’s upcoming World War Z which stars Pitt and is being released by Paramount on June 21.

Kleiner is also a producer on Plan B’s Twelve Years A Slave, directed by Steve McQueen and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, and Paul Giamatti, which will be released by Fox Searchlight on December 27th. He also is a produce on True Story from New Regency which is,directed by Rupert Goold and stars Jonah Hill and James Franco. Kleiner is also an Executive Producer of Plan B and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ ABC/ABC Studios pilot, Resurrection, and on Plan B productions Kick-Ass, Eat Pray Love, and The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee. With Dede Gardner, Kleiner oversees Plan B’s development and production slate. Kleiner joined Plan B in 2003 and rose through the ranks from Creative Executive to Producer and now Co-President. He previously worked as a creative executive at Dick and Lauren Shuler Donner’s company before joining Plan B.

What was Brad Pitt like before he hit stardom?


Thanks to Yahoo!'s Daytime In No Time host Nikki Boyer, new high school photos of the A-list actor have come to light. Boyer asked twitter followers if they grew up with someone who later became famous. To her surprise she received a message form a woman, Diane White, who said she went to high school with Pitt.






After digging through some old secondary school memorabilia, White came across a few unseen pics of the starwhen he was a teenager.


By far the most intriguing one picture shows the World War Z star dressed in a high school cheerleader's outfit. Taken around 1981, the photo shows Pitt sporting the black and yellow colors of Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri while participating in the powder-puff football game, according to omg. With his eyes shut, Pitt performs a cheer while donning pom pom hair and a stuffed bra.


Pitt may be closing in on his 50th birthday, but a picture from the summer of either 1979 or 1980 shows a scrawny teen. Shirtless at a neighborhood pool, Pitt had not yet developed the physique that fans later see in his films. Instead he is seen looking at the ground, arms crossed with his eyes nearly hidden under a mop of blond hair.


Pitt can be seen in the June release of the zombie fueled film World War Z.

Brad Pitt surprises his fans at a screening of his new film World War Z on Wednesday (May 22) at the Clearview Cinemas in Hoboken, N.J.

The 49-year-old actor entered the theater before the screening started to surprise everyone and intro the film, which started at 10:45pm.

“Brad wanted to make sure that the screening was for the fans, the people that he made the film for,” a source told JustJared.com exclusively about the screening. “The crowd went wild when he showed up and he had t-shirts to hand out to his fans. He made sure to give New Jersey a big shout out before the movie started!”

First "World War Z" Reviews are Surprisingly Very Positive

There many celebrities and movie critics at last night's surprise screening of "World War Z," for which Brad Pitt was in attendance. This gave people a chance to find out just how terrible the film turned out after all the arguments, re-shoots, and major script changes that took place during production.

The first Twitter reactions are now up and it appears that "World War Z" is not a terrible movie. In fact, it's a fantastic movie that may just be one of the most entertaining movies of 2013.

Hollywood star Brad Pitt gave fans in New Jersey a treat by showing up unannounced at a screening of his new zombie movie. The audience was settling down to watch Pitt's apocalyptic horror World War Z when the actor walked into the theatre at Clearview Cinemas in Hoboken. He handed out T-shirts to the delighted crowd before giving a short introduction to the movie, in which he plays a United Nations employee interviewing survivors of a zombie outbreak. A source tells gossip website Just Jared, "Brad wanted to make sure that the screening was for the fans, the people that he made the film for. The crowd went wild when he showed up and he had T-shirts to hand out to his fans. "He made sure to give New Jersey a big shout out before the movie started!"

Journalist Rick Marshall summed up the evening with a tweet, writing, “On my way home after a surprise screening of World War Z. That Brad Pitt guy showed up. We talked about zombies and stuff. Good times.”

Brad Pitt stepped out solo Wednesday night to mingle with an impressive crowd of A-listers – but he didn't forget his fans, either.

Showing his new zombie thriller World War Z for the first time, hehosted a star-packed screening at New York City's Museum of Modern Art – then zipped to Hoboken, N.J., where he surprised moviegoers at a late-night sneak preview.

"They said we got to do a showing in the city and I said okay, but we can't do it without showing it to the people who we made the film for," he told the Jersey fans. "So we decided to do it than no other place than Jersey. We've got a monster film, it's epic, scary as hell and I guarantee it's the most intense thing you will see all summer."

Back in Manhattan, the VIP crowd seemed to agree. Pals Julianna Marguiles and Kyra Sedgwick joked about how terrifying the movie's hordes of zombies were as they headed with Sedgwick's husband Kevin Bacon to the afterparty at the "21" Club, where Pitt, looking happy and relaxed two weeks after fiancée Angelina Jolie's announcement of her preventive double mastectomy, mingled with guests.
At the MOMA screening, where he was all in black (pants, jacket and boots), with his hair pulled into a ponytail, Pitt was introduced by Paramount head Brad Grey.

On stage, the star told the crowd, "Thank you. Thank you all very much. We've been on this thing for so long and it's so nice to see friends out in the audience and so many others that I admire who are here tonight – I'm a little big shy about it. So thank you very much. It means a lot to us that you would give up your night for us."

At the party, there were Bruce Willis with wife Emma Hemming, as well as Morgan Freeman and Ashley Olsen, among others. Katie Couric hugged her former Today colleague Bryant Gumbel and commented as he walked away, "just like old times!"

Sting and Trudie Styler worked the room, sneaking in some sweet PDA when they reunited after chatting with other pals.

Next up for Pitt is World War Z's official world premiere in London on June 2. The movie hits theaters on June 21.
